From York to New York - out with the old, in with the new

This blog aims to provide a focal point for all friends and loved ones (hopefully not many randoms!) to reach out to me.

Did i mention that I’m moving to New York??? - hell yes. By Nov 06, Mr Whippy (aka The Whipster, Mr Whippers or The Dude) will be living, breathing and working within the basket of western civilization. Always keen to do things large, and do things right I’ll be living on the SE corner of Central Park with my best bud, David Griffiths and working at the top of one of the worlds’ greatest landmarks, the Empire State Building.

When thinking about what to write on this section of the website, it struck me that the over-riding theme can only be the importance of friends. I’m fortunate enough to have truely amazing friends, some of which i have known my whole life, others who have touched and enriched my life more recently. I’ve got a total aversion to soppy, mucky, gut wrenching splurts of sickening emo but without you all of this wouldn’t have been possible and I think you guys and gals all rock. So give yourself a pat on the back, save me a beer and read on as i divulge the brilliant set of circumstances i am blessed to enjoy in the future.
