How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Hehe….

Best Answer:

Are you kidding? Everybody knows a woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

    I guess the answer is similar to the question “If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled pepper corns, now many pepper corns did peter Piper pick?”

    Of course the question is almost always asked improperly
    It should be;

    Q. If a woodchuck could chuck wood, and a woodchuck would chuck wood, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

    A. If a woodchuck could chuck wood, and a woodchuck would chuck wood, a woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
